At YTKH, we emphasise authentic English use, with drama as one of many meaningful platforms. Each July, the cast is selected through open auditions that attract over 300 students. After months of practice, students took the stage with confidence, stepping into the spotlight. This year the production drew recognition from Mr Stephen Chan Chi wan, the renowned Hong Kong TV programme host and drama master, who praised students for their precise English and authentic acting. The team then earned the Hong Kong School Drama Festival’s Adjudicators’ Award, which carries recommendation for public performance, and an invitation to perform at Youth Square’s Y Theatre.
