NETsWalk is a joyful mix of reading, culture, and celebration! Through Reading Across the Curriculum, our P.1 students explored Chinese traditions, learning how costume details like buttons, patterns, and colors carry meaning. On Cultural Day, they then walked in pride on the red carpet, showcasing their favorite Chinese costumes while at the same time appreciating their Chinese culture and identity. The runway sparkled with music and cheers, as Junior MCs, our very own P1 kids, hosting and NETs explaining Chinese custom. This made the event not only a fashion walk but also an authentic way to practice English in action. Awards added excitement, but the real highlight was seeing young learners connect reading, culture, and language in one unforgettable celebration.
